My personal GAME plan
Indicators that need strengthening and confidence
Student Learning
Goal- My goal is for every student to have the knowledge needed to be a successful citizen of their community. Most importantly my goal is to make sure students are mentally able to keep up with the technology driven world
Action- Action I will take in order to make sure my students are learning is to let students present more projects before the class and explain their understanding of specific objectives being mastered during class. When students present I will make sure their fellow students pose good questions to make sure the students understand what they are presenting
Monitor- Ways I will monitor my students to make sure the are learning specific objectives during class is make sure all responses during presentation are answered correctly and in depth. Also, I will keep track of students growth over time to make sure students are growing and learning.
Extend- I will extend by getting parents involved in presentations by students. Parents will judge and give suggestions on the presentations they feel require their critique.
Professional Growth
Goal- My goal with professional growth includes me having an arsenal of classroom strategies to use in the classroom. In every situation, my goal is to have a instructional strategy that I can use in the classroom to make learning better for the student.
Action- Action I will take in the classroom to make sure I grow professionally is to always use new strategies in the classroom to to see how effective the are in certain situations. The more knowledgable I am on what strategies work, I become more effective in every teaching situation.
Monitor- I will monitor to make sure I grow professionally by seeing how my students react to certain strategies and how their grades are effected by certain strategies used.
Extend- I will extend to make sure I grow professionally by attending professional development workshops to enhance my classroom effectiveness.

Bryon,
ReplyDeleteYou have a great goal. I work with special students, and I would like for my students to be productive citizens. I know that my students will need to maneuver in this world. It is difficult for these students to acquire the skills necessary for them to be successful in the technological world. At first, I put everything in the favorite bar for my students. I stopped during this when I realized that was not helping them, but hindering their development. They are required to enter the URL for the sites they use. What are some strategies and activities you are using to be sure your students will be able to enter into this world?
I feel that students need as much technology exposure as possible with the world being the way it is today. Technology rules the whorl so if you don't have the ability to adapt to todays technology then you are preparing to fail. Thanks for the response.
